About the role

As a Senior Network Architect, you will be instrumental to lead the development and implementation of network strategies and roadmaps, as well as designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network solutions using Cisco SGA technologies, working mainly with switching, routing with BGP, OSPF, ISIS, etc.

You will work in a cross-functional team, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. This means you will provide your technical insight and support to internal teams and stakeholders. This means that we want you to bring strong skills in communication as well as in architectural designs/structures, and we would prefer you to be a team player, rather than a technical guru.

Our network plays a key role in the infrastructure in Scandinavia. To give it perspective, if our network goes down, 50% of Scandinavia will lose internet connection, including hospitals, businesses, government functions, etc. Therefore, ensuring stability, security, and scalability of the network infrastructure will be super important and staying up to date with industry trends and new technologies to drive innovation and efficiency in the network environment.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• Experience working in Cisco SGA technologies and with Cisco Software-Defined Access

• Strong hands-on experience with DNA Center, ISE and FMC

• Experience in designing and implementing large-scale network solutions

• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices

• Fluency in English

Security background check

For this role, you will have to pass a security background check for Norway, which includes – among other things, that you must have a clean criminal background and hold Norwegian citizenship.
