What Will Your Days Look Like?

 

As a Network Technician with us, you'll start your day with the crucial responsibility of maintaining and enhancing one of Europe’s largest ISP networks. You'll be deeply involved in:

 

  • Maintaining/operating Layer 2/3 network systems, ensuring the backbone of our digital society is strong and reliable.
  • Managing centralized customer firewalls and anti-DDoS platforms, protecting our network and customers from external threats.
  • Providing level 3 technical escalation support for our NOC, tackling everything from single customer issues to major outages affecting multiple customers.
  • The opportunity to participating in 24/7-365 on-call duty, ready to respond to critical network issues at any moment.
  • Engaging in various internal network projects, such as firmware upgrades and transitioning customer services from legacy platforms to new platforms, ensuring our network's evolution and resilience.
     

This role gives you in a mix of office hours and on-call duties, making you one of the select few with both the access and knowledge critical for maintaining our network's integrity.

 

Flexible Working Locations

Choose to work from our Fornebu or Kristiansand offices, with the option for remote work on certain days. However, the nature of this role requires a significant presence in the office, underlining the importance of your role in our business.

To Succeed, We Think You Have:

  • Solid experience working operationally with networks.
  • Good knowledge of Firewalls and a willingness to learn the DDoS platform.
  • Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, or similar technologies.
  • Business-level proficiency in English and Norwegian.
  • Norwegian citizenship and the ability to pass the HEMMLIG security check.
