Senior Investment Controller

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of driving strategic financial decision-making and ensuring solid handling and reporting of our capex spend across the Nordics within the Business Area NetCo, which is our unit for the Tech/IT development.

 

Your primary focus will be on reporting, advising, and optimizing capital expenditures (capex) within NetCo. You'll play a pivotal role in building short- and long-term financial models for capex, designing systems that align with our overarching ambitions. You will strategize, ensuring our financial operations align with our organizational goals. Furthermore, you will help drive business cases for customers in your portfolio.

 

Your main tasks:

  • Develop and maintain financial models for capital expenditures (capex) related to telecom infrastructure, such as network equipment, towers, and fiber optic cables.
  • Analyze and report on capex spending, ensuring that it aligns with the company's strategic goals and financial targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineering, operations, and procurement, to ensure that capex investments are optimized and aligned with business needs.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to senior management and other stakeholders, including presenting financial reports and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to capex spending, such as return on investment (ROI) and payback period.
  • Develop and maintain financial forecasting models to support long-term planning and budgeting for capex investments.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls related to capex spending.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in capex reporting and analysis.

Your days will involve developing innovative financial models that support our operations. Engaging with stakeholders, you'll align our financial strategies with organizational guidelines and oversee the financial landscape, from forecasting to analyzing deviations. As we aim to expand our pan-Nordic presence, you'll harmonize our strategies across diverse countries and currencies. With your analytical skills and positive attitude, we're confident in our path forward.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Finance, preferably within controlling or equivalent

• A master’s degree in finance
• Strong competence in Excel
• Fluent English skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with Power BI is a plus
• Located in Copenhagen, Oslo or Stockholm
