About the Role

 

As a Business Controller at GlobalConnect, you'll dive deep into financial reporting, process harmonization, and forecasting. You'll work closely with Procurement/Supply Chain and Products, serving as a key partner to these teams while contributing to our ongoing transformation journey. From improving monthly reporting quality to forward-looking analysis, your insights will drive decisions that shape our future.

 

You'll join a hybrid, Nordic team of seven colleagues spread across Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. With an informal, collaborative atmosphere, we prioritize direct communication and encourage proactive teamwork. Expect to be challenged, learn new systems, and influence meaningful change.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure high-quality monthly financial reporting and analysis.
  • Optimize and harmonize processes across departments and systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance forecasting and planning.

To Succeed in This Role, You Need:

 

  • A relevant master’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience as a Business Controller in a complex matrix organization.
  • Strong accounting fundamentals and an analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel
  • A pragmatic approach to navigating imperfect systems and processes.
  • Fluency in English and one of the Scandinavian languages.
