At GlobalConnect, we are looking for a Domain Architect who will play a crucial role in our IT transformation journey. You will be responsible for understanding business needs and translating them into effective IT solutions, ensuring our systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with our business goals. This is an opportunity to lead the charge in cleaning up and modernizing our IT environment, working closely with business stakeholders, and implementing strategic initiatives.

 

What will you be doing?

In this role, you will start building roadmaps and plans for your designated areas, interfacing with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translating these into IT capabilities. A typical day might include drawing and presenting technical solutions to various teams, supporting ongoing projects, and integrating new M&A data into our systems. Your mission is to streamline our IT operations while maintaining comprehensive service for our customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain roadmaps and plans for assigned domains (e.g., marketing, network).
  • Support and drive the e2e solutions within IT projects from inception to completion.
  • Interface with business stakeholders to understand and translate their needs into IT solutions.
  • Create and present technical drawings and plans to architects, enterprise teams, and business units.
  • Drive the decommissioning of outdated systems while ensuring ongoing operations are unaffected

To succeed in this role, you need:

  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience in large organizations, particularly in Telecom-utilities or similar sectors.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT, preferably with a background in development and architecture.
  • Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or TMF.
