About the Role
 

As a Procurement Manager at GlobalConnect, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing sourcing strategies that drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure efficient procurement processes. You will be responsible for managing supplier relations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
 

This is not just about finding the best suppliers—it’s about building long-term partnerships and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure that procurement strategies align with business needs. Your ability to navigate complex negotiations, adapt to changing priorities, and manage expectations across departments will be key to your success.
 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that ensure cost efficiency and supplier quality
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Lead contract negotiations and secure agreements that benefit the organization
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations
  • Collaborate with Nordic procurement colleagues to align strategies across all markets

To Succeed in This Role, You Need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and sourcing
  • Proven ability in stakeholder management—internally and externally
  • Experience working with contractors
  • Knowledge of the telecom industry is a plus but not a must
  • Fluency in a Scandinavian language
