We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director to join our team as the Head of Operate & Automate IT, reporting directly to our Group CIO. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the team managing the portfolio of IT solutions that drive our network operations (Fulfillment, Inventory, Assurance) across the company. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development, implementation, and lifecycle of technology solutions that enhance our business processes and IT operations. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving innovation, ensuring seamless IT operations, and aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.

Additionally, we are seeking a permanent manager to take over and provide stable, long-term leadership after having had an interim manager in place, ensuring continuity and sustained progress in our IT operations and automation efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the technology strategy for Operate & Automate IT solutions in alignment with the company's overall vision and goals.
- Lead and manage a cross-country team in the Nordics consisting of IT professionals, including solution architects, developers, analysts, and project managers.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of Operate & Automate IT solutions, from concept ideation to deployment and ongoing optimization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with architects, infrastructure, other IT solution areas, and various stakeholders to understand business requirements and align technology solutions accordingly.
- Develop and manage budgets, resource allocation, and cost-effective strategies for Operate & Automate IT projects.
- Ensure operational excellence through continuous improvement of IT processes, automation, and service delivery.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership role within IT and/or Telecom, specifically focusing on operational and automation solutions.
- Extensive Network management /OSS experience.
- In-depth understanding of IT and network operations, automation technologies, platforms, and architectures, with a track record of successful solution delivery.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, enabling effective interaction with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (relevant certifications and additional qualifications are a plus).
- You are based in Stockholm, Oslo, or Copenhagen.
