WHO we are looking for  

You have a collaborative mindset and get excited about solving complex business challenges. In this position you will work closely with our senior management across five North European markets, addressing the most critical issues to shape and deliver on our strategic direction. 

The position demands a combination of analytical - problem solving - and project management skills as well as solid business and strategic acumen.

Here are some examples of key responsibilities:  

As a Strategy and M&A manager your work will cover  

• Leading strategy projects run by the team   

• Evolve our market position and portfolio strategy 

• Form a perspective on topics and trends of strategic importance 

• Propose measures to stay on track with our five-year strategic plan 

• Ensure our strategy is fully understood by the ~1850 people in our company 

• Leading M&A Projects including pre-DD, DD, negotiations and post-merger integration work, as well as divestments and strategic partnerships  

• Monitoring our M&A pipeline, including market activity in key segments 

• Supporting development of materials for the Board of Directors and executive management

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:  

• We are looking for a team player with a can-do attitude, a colleague who thrives in a changing environment and who is looking for a challenge beyond the ordinary. A person who wants to and is able to make an impact with a genuine interest in the opportunities technology creates for society. 

• You have a strong track record of delivering strategy and analytical tasks in high quality potentially from a top tier management consultancy, M&A advisory or a corporate strategy function. You should also have experience with financial analysis and modelling.  

• You are self-motivated with a high drive; you take ownership and execute efficiently. You are comfortable working with all colleagues across the organization, including presenting and problem-solving with senior management.  

• You have a relevant academic degree and around 4-7 years of experience. You are a strong communicator in English. Speaking Danish, Swedish, German or Norwegian is a plus. Needless to say you are a skilled user of Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
