Student Assistant
Student Assistant to Group IT – Help Shape GlobalConnect's Digital Landscape
Part-time position, 15–20 hours/week
Would you like to dig into real business data, work with systems across the whole Nordic region, and help shape how one of the leading digital infrastructure providers makes smart decisions? Then this might be your next student job!
What you’ll be doing
As our new Student Assistant in Group IT, you’ll get a unique chance to explore how systems are used across GlobalConnect — from the tools that power our daily operations to who owns them and how they are governed.
You’ll join a team that keeps a close eye on our wide range of applications and supports projects around system consolidation, renewals, GDPR reporting, and business reviews. Your role will be essential in keeping everything moving forward by preparing structured data and insights that help shape smart decisions — whether it’s for project economy, information management, or our long-term business planning.
You’ll collaborate with experienced colleagues across our four solution areas in Group IT, and you’ll have a visible, supportive leader who listens and trusts you to work independently and make a real impact.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Updating and maintaining overviews of our IT systems and ownership structures
- Supporting GDPR and project economy reporting with clean, structured data
- Assisting in preparing business reviews and management presentations in PowerPoint
- Contributing to information management and business planning initiatives
- Helping secure the data foundation for decision-making in various projects
Group IT is at the heart of how we operate, grow, and support our customers across the Nordics. We’re making sure the company runs on the right systems, used the right way, for the right reasons. And we make that happen with a pragmatic, grounded approach.
You'll be part of a team that values clear communication, taking responsibility, and helping each other out. You’ll be trusted to work independently but never left on your own. Your voice will be heard, and your work will matter.
What we think you’ll bring to the role:
- You know your way around Excel and PowerPoint and enjoy working with structured data
- You are fluent in English and a Nordic language
- You are comfortable working independently and delivering reliable results
- You have a sense of responsibility and care about doing things properly
You don’t need to send a personal letter unless there’s something not covered in your CV or LinkedIn profile that you’d like us to know.
We look forward to hearing from you!
