We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to our office in Oslo and you need to be fluent in both English and Norwegian for this position.

 

As an Analytics Engineer, you will work closely with the business to create value by delivering insights and new ways of working with data. You will be responsible for growing, maintaining, and optimizing the core dbt layer for our data products, which are critical to our success. You will be part of a hybrid team of data engineers, Analytics Engineers, and a Product Owner, collaborating to create awesome data products with high quality.

 

We are looking for a problem-solver with experience working closely with the business and understanding its needs. You should have strong analytical and data management skills,

as well as experience with modern data stacks. We see that you work well both independently and in a team. We value a collaborative and communicative approach and a passion for the business with a responsible and humble attitude.

 

We also expect that:

  • You are an expert when it comes to SQL.
  • You have experience in working with tools such as Snowflake, PowerBI, Qlik and dbt transformation.
  • You have experience in data modeling (Kimball/ Inmon) and data warehousing.

 

We think it would be nice if you’re familiar with Python but it’s not a requirement (It would make us very happy though!)

As an Analytics Engineer, you will transform business needs and analytical initiatives into creating different data models and developing the data warehouse solution. You will share your knowledge with your team members and support and assist stakeholders on how to use different data. You will have a great impact on helping enable us to make more data-driven decisions and encourage data-driven actions that aim to improve user engagement and experience.
