About the role

Working at GlobalConnect with Compliance would mean you are part of starting a global team, as we are looking for a Compliance Specialist in Stockholm, Oslo, and Copenhagen. Together the three of you will have an exciting multifaceted organization where your support, structure, and knowledge are of the highest importance. We will centralize the function to support quality work and support for the different business areas, in the global setting of the Nordic, Finland, and Germany.

This particular job ad is connected to our Stockholm office, and you would be supporting our B2C business area.

The areas you will be ensuring compliance in are very varied. From security, GDPR, compensation law, antibribery, sustainability, and general telecom legislation and more. You will do analyzes, find gaps, correct them, work closely with the legal department for guidance, and make sure we do the practical changes needed to ensure compliance. Some areas will be more important than others and it will be up to you to prioritize, look at our findings in internal audits and take the necessary next steps. You will also run projects with different people throughout the organization to improve our ways of working.  

To succeed in this role, we believe you have: 

• Proven experience as an internal auditor/lawyer with a strong understanding of compliance across multiple dimensions
• Hands-on experience in reviewing revisions, addressing improvement proposals and deviations, and leading multi-person projects
• Ability to create an annual report and ensure the accurate reporting of compliance levels
• Fluency in English
